Credicorp Bank in Panama Deploys US Biometrics’ AccessQ, VaultQ, MemberQ and CentralQ Biometric Fingerprint Authentication Systems

 

May 30, 2008 Naperville, Illinois– Credicorp Bank in Panama City, Panama is the first institution within Panama to implement a wide spectrum of US Biometrics’ multi-factor authentication products.

 

Credicorp Bank has deployed the US Biometrics’ control system, including hardware and software, with the goal of increasing security and protecting the identity of their customers. Not only is it making the customer’s experience with Credicorp a pleasurable one since transactions have become faster and more convenient, but it has also increased identity security and reduced fraudulent activity.

MemberQ - biometrically protects the identities of the bank’s customers. It is a biometric layer that is configured to work seamlessly with existing software.

VaultQ – in lieu of signature verification, safe deposit box customers are identified biometrically.

AccessQ – a secure, convenient, and cost-effective method for granting access to a specific area such as a room or vault.

CentralQ – allows the encrypted storage of credentials including biometric tokens, names, addresses, and other customer information.

CentralQ Reporting – allows administrators to view and report who accessed which resources at specific times.
